The Church & Charity Law Seminar Continues Virtually

Thursday, November 4, 2021

In light of the ongoing uncertainty due to COVID-19, the 2021 Annual Church & Charity Law Seminar™, inclusive of the broader faith community, will continue to be held virtually this year. This means that once again, you can participate from the comfort and safety of your office or home. Each topic will be 20 minutes in length, including Q&A, with the exception of 30 minutes each for two of the special guest speakers. The webinar will be presented in 2 two-hour modules starting at 9:00 am EDT and finishing at 1:30 pm. EDT

The special guest speakers this year will be Tony Manconi, Director General of the Charities Directorate of the Canada Revenue Agency; Kenneth Goodman, The Public Guardian & Trustee at the Attorney General Office of Ontario; as well as Kenneth Hall of Robertson Hall Insurance Inc.

The 2021 Church & Charity Law Seminar, inclusive of the broader faith community, has been held every year since 1994 and is presented by Carters Professional Corporation, a law firm with offices in Toronto, Ottawa and Orangeville with expertise in the law of churches, charities, and not-for-profit organizations operating across Canada as well as internationally.

This year, the cost of registration for this webinar has been kept at $20.00 per person to make sure that as many people can attend as possible. On demand replay will not be made available to the general public, so the only way to access the presentations will be to register for the webinar.

This webinar is eligible for 4 substantive hours towards the annual Law Society of Ontario (LSO) CPD and CPA Professional Development requirements.
