Nancy Claridge was called to the Ontario Bar in 2006 and joined Carters that same year. She became a partner in 2012. Nancy practices in the areas of corporate and commercial law, anti-terrorism law, real estate law, commercial leasing, charity and not-for-profit law, and wills and estates. She also serves as Assistant Editor of the firm’s publications. Nancy’s practice focuses on serving the local community, assisting individuals and businesses, while also advising on commercial and real estate transactions for the firm’s charity and not-for-profit clients. Deeply committed to community involvement, Nancy is a member of the Rotary Club of Orangeville and currently serves as President of the Orangeville Blues and Jazz Festival. She is Chair and Director of two social housing corporations, a member of the executive of the Greater Dufferin Area Estate Planning Council, and a member of Parish Council for St. Mark’s Anglican Church. Nancy is also a foster volunteer with Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides. Her past community service includes serving as President of the Orangeville Concert Association, member of the Community Living Dufferin Rights Advisory Committee, member of the Upper Grand District School Board Compliance Audit Committee, and member of the Town of Orangeville Leave a Legacy Committee. Nancy is the former President of the Dufferin County Law Association and is a member of both the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association. In addition to her professional and volunteer commitments, Nancy sings with several choirs and frequently performs as a soloist, having appeared both locally and internationally.
